Bios for Potential Board Members

Bill Amos

My wife, Megan, and our children, Rowen and Lynlie, have been members at YMSC since 2017 and we have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this community. Our children just finished their second season on the swim team and we love cheering on the Makos. I was born and raised in Baltimore County and I have been a dedicated civil servant as an employee of the Department of Defense for the past 13 years. My family and I are at the pool most days during the summer and I am always happy to help out during swim meets, during social events, or whenever else I can be of service. In my free time, I enjoy coaching my kids in sports, playing golf and basketball, and having fun with good friends at the pool. If I am elected to the board, I hope to maintain the YMSC traditions and to keep the pool a great family experience for years to come.

Kate Dachille

Our family has been members of York Manor Swim Club for the past two years. My husband Garrett and I have two daughters Juno (9) and Maris (6) who just finished their first year on the swim team. Professionally, I am the Director of Operations for International Programs at Save the Children, a large independent humanitarian non-profit serving kids across the globe. I also enjoy volunteering at Lutherville Lab, my daughters’ school. During the summer, you will find us at the pool almost every day. Our family feels so fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful community. I want to do my part and ensure local families can enjoy it for years to come!

Michelle Feracci (incumbent board member):

My family has enjoyed being members of York Manor for the past 11 years. My children, Madison & Dominic, have been on the Makos swim team for 10 years. Madison was the Makos Junior Coach this year and they both lifeguard for York Manor. For the past 3 years, I’ve served on the board as Treasurer. During this time, I’ve streamlined the deposit reconciliation process. I previously served as the swim team director for 2 years and I’ve been involved on the swim team committee for the past 5 years. I would like to continue to be involved with the board to share my past experiences/knowledge and bring new ideas to the group. I am an open-minded team player and enjoy working with others! Go Makos!

David Hubbard (incumbent board member)

Retired yellow pages sales rep now enjoying youth sports officiating as a hobby. Current board member & loyal pool member for over 34 years. I would like to continue to serve because I believe a geographic York Manor resident should be on the board. Thank you.

Amy Johnson: (incumbent board member)

My family and I have been members of YMSC for 13 years. I work for Baltimore County Public Schools as a teacher in the Infants & Toddlers Program. My kids, Cole (17) and Calleigh (14) have been on the swim team for many years and work in the pool snack bar. I have served on the Board for the past 3 years, and as President this past year. I hope to continue to serve the board to keep YMSC a fun and safe place for our community!

Roy Mahoney: (incumbent board member)

I have been on the board here at York Manor for three years.  I have chaired the Social committee in 2021 and currently Chair the Grounds and Maintenance committee for 2022. I have been member of York Manor since 2004.  During that time, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting wonderful members and encouraged several to join our amazing community.  I am proud of the fact that each of my children have been a member of the Makos swim team, with Brielle and Gannon being current members! I look forward to representing the members on the board as we continue to make York Manor a place for families and friends as we grow into the best community pool in the area.

Ashley Oleszczuk:

My family has lived in the Dulaney Valley Improvement Associate community since 2009 and have been members of YMSC since 2019. I grew up lifeguarding and managing pools within the free state league which is why we enjoy spending our summers at the pool and cheering on our daughters (Capri – 8 and Blake – 6) who swim for the Makos! During the school year, I am the Associate Director of Admissions at St. James Academy.
